    Tired of this Hell Hole

Ive been working For Target for almost three years and im tired of it all of my etls went to college

and most of them are extremely incompetent and they have their favorites

Ive gone for Tps 3 times and the last time i went for it the aptl had the nerve to say that he feels im not dedicated to any team bc im crosstrained and scheduled everywhere these jackasses promote people who have less time than I do i have also have applied for Food ave team lead and i was told i dont vibe enough meanwhile i am constantly being recognized for my vibe and hired a team member with way less experience meanwhile i get abused as a bike builder

And my last raise was 15cents allthough i work harder than anyone and now with my time ive gone from 30+ hours to 15 even the google people in our store get paid more than we do Fuck You Target Fuck you

    Ruined by Retail

I’d just like to know, where do I get my refund for the 4 years I spent there? During my time there, I lost a lot of myself. I gave up time with my family and long distance boyfriend bending over backwards for this company. Then to basically get shit on when I wanted a weekend to go see him. I always told them yes, and frankly, working here has made me hate 99% of the human population. Even as a TL I wasn’t paid nearly enough to live off of, let alone deal with all the bullshit from the customers.

Are there Any ETLs on this page?

Seems like all of the posts on here are from us lowly peon TMs complaining about the ETLs.

I would love to hear from a ETL who hates it just as much as the rest of us. I’d love to hear the inside dirt on dealing with District.

Are there any ETLs out there?

ps. Is it a normal practice for Target to cycle ETLs around stores and not let them stay at a store more than a year, two years Max? Or is this unique to my store? It’s so predictable that I can tell you who is the next ETL to leave, the one who has been there longest. It’s like clockwork.
But more often than not they quit first. The few who don’t quit get transferred after about a year. I think it may suck for them about as much as for you and me.

  • I may have the Store Team Lead from Hell. I never worked under someone so ignorant in my life. Other team members including myself have gone above her head and complained to the District Manager and some have even called the human resource offices at corporate and she is never reprimanded for some of the horrible things she does.

  • Whenever the data breach happened, our ETLs went completely crazy. You couldn’t turn on a walkie without hearing “WHERE ARE WE AT ON REDCARDS?!”

Obviously people put up with it. They had to. But I decided I didn’t want to anymore. So a really bitchy ETL came over the walkie and was asking Electronics why we haven’t gotten any redcards. This is where shit went down.

    Target blows

So I’ve been working here for a year. And I have some good things and bad things about this store for me. I am dayside backroom that’s all I do. The guys back there are cool and all. Although I’ve had issues our counterparts in early morning.

Well ill let me start with early morning backroom. The team lead is a major asshole.

  • First off, FUCK RED CARDS and everything they stand for. If i didnt hate the color red before, I hate it now.  I thought it would be great to work at Target since its close to heaven shopping there, but i was wrong, just like i always am. I worked in softlines and the first 3 days of work wasnt that bad. I was new to everything and i was still training, so i basically just walked around and avoided “GUEST” (like ppl care) because I didn’t know shit about anything or its location…..and i hate being bothered with stupid questions…

    So this bitch…

I got out of the military, started school and decided to take some time off to rethink my major. So, I get a job at Target thinking I could do what I usually do when I get a job and just do my job well enough to earn a lead position, work my way up. I started about 3 weeks ago in softlines, nothing but other females. They are all pretty cool to work with but the “leads”….goddamn, whatta bunch of cunts.

  • I work early morning flow doing pulls.  Early morning now starts at 6am instead of 4 like it used to be.  Goodbye shift differential.  Hello store still opening at 8.  So we have two less hours to get the pulls and unload done and to get the shelves stocked and trash/back stock taken care of before the store opens.  Of course they also cut hours for sales floor people.  There aren’t any of them in the morning now.  Flow is just expected to do that job too.  There’s pallets and cardboard cages everywhere that customers have to pick their way around to do their shopping.  My STL says “we just have to educate customers about the way things are going to be now”.  Really?  If you have to educate your customers about why they can’t go down an aisle to grab their corn flakes because there’s boxes bowled out everywhere because you cut hours back so severely…maybe that’s not the best business plan.  Customers should not have to get used to you fucking them over.

    Target and Ageism

I was recently informed by one of my close team leader friends that I work with at my Target down south that she would be retiring at the end of September. I didn’t really ask too many details. She has been here for a while and I understood why she was.
It wasn’t until later that I found out talking to another one of my friends, that our STL actually informed a different team leader that he would have to quit or retire in order to make room for the younger team members who wanted to be promoted to a team leader. She also informed me that the same team leader who I’d been talking to earlier who is retiring had basically been told the same thing. She told me they have been trying to push her out of her position for a while.
Now I don’t know about you…………. But that does not sound professional or legal in any way shape or form.
But then again. It is Target. They assume they can do whatever the fuck they want.
