Target Sucks - We Hate Target and We Know We're Not Alone.

My old store

I have not been in my old store since the day I quit. So when I drive by my old store, I feel the need to flip it off and say, “FUCK YOU TARSHIT”! I even have a gift card from Tarshit that I will probably never use because that is how much I still cannot stand that fucking “company”. I haven’t even been able to step into other Tarshits. I feel like I cannot contribute to something that treats their lower employees like absolute shit!! I’m probably just gonna throw the gift card away or just give it to someone lol. I’m still employed at Walgreens and I still love it!! I haven’t had a work nightmare yet lol. I used to have work nightmares when I used to work at Tarshit though.

Give the gift card to somebody as a gift, especially if you don't really like them. 🙂

First off, round of applause for never returning to Target and even thinking about flipping Target off. I haven't returned to my store since I was let go and I haven't even shopped at any Target since. If I'm near a Target, I flip the building off, like today for example. Second I would just toss the gift card, no need to give Target any more profit they deserve. Target doesn't deserve a single penny. In fact, I think what Target deserves is to have the higher ups forced to swim in a pool of diarrhea, in a hot as hell building. But since that isn't going to happen, if you still have your red card, I'd suggest taking a pair of scissors and cutting it up into little bitty pieces and mailing it to the CEO in Minnesota. That's what I plan to do with mine during the holidays.

how about this? Buy their loss leaders with the gift card. You know the stuff that's in their flyers that's super cheap to drive customers into their store.

Yeah, that is a good plan. Throwing out the gift means they get 100% profit. The real cash was already spent, so it's important to do two things: 1. spend it on a product they lose money on. 2. Do NOT spend more than the gift card amount.

Gift cards are generally revenue leaders because people will usually spend at least twice the amount on the gift card. So spend only what's on the gift card, and they lose.

I obviously never paid attention. What products does target lose money on?

grocery items especially produce are a thin margin item. Whatever you do, do not buy clothing from target. That's where they make their money. Brand name stuff that's on sale for uber cheap. BACK to school items. Stuff that's on clearance for 90% off. They aren't making much off you that way. Check their grocery flyers like a maniac. If your target does pricematching. Pricematch produce from a major big grocer. Do whatever it takes to screw them out of money.

if you do run out of space on the giftcard, use an amex to pay the rest of the balance. Make them spend money to take your money. 😉

you can get an amex from americanexpress.com directly. They have a few no fee cards with a low income requirement. Mind you pay the bill off after you used the card though online bill payment. Makes the point moot of making target lose money to take your money if you have to pay interest
